Ovarian cancer is a deadly disease with over 1 500 women dying from it every year in Canada alone. There have been very small improvements in treatment for ovarian cancer over the last two decades. The mission of the Canadian Conference for Ovarian Cancer Research is to bring together in one place everyone dedicated to fighting this deadly cancer. On May 14-17, 2016, scientists, medical doctors, students, and cancer survivors from across Canada will converge on Niagara Falls to talk about new research discoveries and how these findings will be used quickly to better diagnose and treat women with ovarian cancer. Top scientists from around the world will be invited to discuss their ideas and research findings at conference too. It is believed that with most innovative research we will be at the brink of making a real difference in the battle against ovarian cancer.
