The key objectives of the proposed research program are: (1) to conduct clinical trials to determine the optimal approach to radiation therapy for women with breast cancer; (2) to conduct translational research to help individualize treatment for women with breast cancer; and (3) to evaluate new technologies in radiation therapy. The new knowledge gained from this research will benefit patients, clinicians, and the cancer care system.
