There are not enough radiotherapy machines in Guatemala to treat cancer patients. At INCAN, it is not uncommon for a patient to have to wait up to 8 months to receive treatment, time in which tumors only grew larger. Therefore, we assessed if neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical hysterectomy is an acceptable alternative for cervical cancer patients.
