Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
This research will investigate the effects that physical activity and sedentary behaviour (too much sitting) have on the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and multiple myeloma. It will also investigate how physical activity and sedentary behaviour combine with genetic factors to influence the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and breast cancer. The outcomes will help us understand the roles that physical activity and sedentary behaviour play in the development of these cancers.
